Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our talented team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at WTCP, you will have the opportunity to contribute to patient care and improve their outcomes. This position ensures health history and admission process is completed and that intervention or referrals are made. The LPN identifies discharge planning and education needs, provides patient care, and performs personal cares. The Licensed Practical Nurse communicates patient progress and adjusts own workload. Candidate will be credentialed based on state of MN. The location is in Grand Forks, ND The working schedule for this role is 8a-5p Monday-Friday; hour lunch break unpaid The duration is for a contractor for 13 weeks The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer Holiday coverage is not required The pay: $41.75 Hourly ($840.00 Taxable, $830.00 Stipend) = $1,670.00 Weekly = $6,680.00 Monthly Gross Date: 05.15.24 | Job Number: 268320 Key Responsibilities: Assists the registered nurse or other licensed practitioner in the identification of patient needs, priorities of care and goals based on patient's age, ethnic origin, economic status, lifestyle, creed or philosophical beliefs Contributes to the evaluation of the plan of care by gathering, observing, recording, and communicating patient responses to nursing interventions Modifies the plan of care in collaboration with licensed practitioner Demonstrates competency and ability to carry out department specific functions in accordance to the department's standards of care, policies and procedures Functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to the implementation of an integrated patient-centered care plan Assigns or delegates the responsibility for performance of nursing interventions to other persons for which that person has the necessary skills and competence to accomplish safely Identifies the early warning signs of a change in a patient's condition and reports appropriately Implements nursing interventions and prescribed medical regimens in a timely and safe manner and documents nursing care provided accurately and timely Collaborates and communicates relevant and timely patient information with patients/families and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality and continuity of care Reports the patient's self-report/symptoms of pain promptly according to standard operating procedure Participates in the health education approved by a licensed practitioner Assists in the discharge planning, appropriate education and counseling based on identified needs to optimize patient/family understanding Qualifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Minnesota Board of Nursing Temporary LPN license accepted prior to start Must hold an unencumbered nursing license prior to start Basic Life Support (BLS) Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff Basic computer skills Professional, friendly attitude Benefits: Weekly pay | Direct Deposit Flexible Spending Account (FSP) 401K Retirement Plan Voluntary Supplemental Benefits Guaranteed Hours Per Facility Standard Holiday Pay Mileage Reimbursement | Commuter Benefits License and Certification Reimbursement Continuing Education Reimbursement Reimbursement for Work Uniforms or Scrubs Stipends for Housing, Meals and Incidentals Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits for you and your family Waterfall Technology Consulting Partners LLC (WTCP) is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
