Here’s your chance to play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across the Portland Metro Area. If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact in social services and develop valuable skills along the way, we invite you to be part of our organization. What You’ll Do: Travel to various homes in the community to offer direct care and support to individuals with IDD. Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, hygiene, and mobility support. Engage in skill-building activities to promote independence and personal growth. Keep accurate records of daily activities, care provided, and any noteworthy incidents or observations. Collaborate closely with fellow DSPs, supervisors, and team members to ensure comprehensive support. Follow Individual Support Plans (ISPs) to enhance the quality of life for those we serve. Prioritize the safety and well-being of the individuals under your care. What You Need: Must be 18 years or older. Possession of a valid driver's license and a dependable vehicle with the ability to become a company driver. Ability to handle physical requirements, including lifting approximately 50 lbs. Capacity to adapt to changing circumstances and effectively tackle challenges. Successful completion of a level II background check. What You’ll Get: Competitive Salary: $24 per hour.
