Responsibilities: • Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders• Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales• Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met• Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals• Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio Qualifications: • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills are necessary; customer service skills are helpful• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree a plus• Valid insurance license required or candidates must be willing to get licensed• Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial• Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office• Candidate is required to hold either a US passport, a green card, or a regular renewable EAD (we are not able to contract with F1 Visa - OPT - CPT) Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 at plan earnings About Company: New York Life’s mission is to provide financial security and peace of mind through our insurance, annuity, and investment solutions.
