Treelax is a youth girls lacrosse club that was started in 2013 by Amy Bokker, Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Stanford. We are now in our fourth year of operation and are now looking to drastically increase player participation. We currently have five teams by graduation year from 2022s-2018s (6th-11th grade) and 80 girls in the club. We are looking for a part-time marketing intern to enhance brand awareness, design creative flyers/ads, and improve participation. All work can be done remotely but we do require a bi-weekly check-in to discuss projects and on going ideas. Our website: www.treelaxclub.com Responsibilities: -Work with Treelax Staff to develop then execute a marketing strategy to boost player signups. Specifically for January 2017 tryouts and camps. -Create digital ads -Create and Manage content on Social Media -Manage and update website on a regular basis ( www.treelaxclub.com ) Qualifications: -Marketing background (or similar) necessary as well as strong writing skills and social media experience. Because this person will primarily work from home, they must have integrity and be hard-working. Requirements: -Some experience with Photoshop, Adobe, or Illustrator -Possess good computer and communication skills, with excellent writing and verbal skills. -Be able to work independently and with minimum supervision. -Enthusiastic about sports and a positive attitude -Finish projects and tasks assigned by Director This internship does not offer compensation but performance dependent WILL be more than happy to write recommendations for future jobs.
